Missions Resources for Churches

Psalm 67 Collective's free missions resources help your church understand God's mission to the nations, from what makes a people group unreached to how to prepare a team, send a missionary, or start a study. We recommend tools we trust and use with churches ourselves.

Joshua Project

Joshua Project is a ministry of evangelical Christians that keeps a database of the world's people groups so churches can prioritize prayer and mission. It began in 1995 and became a US nonprofit in 2024. We use it to help churches choose a people group to pray for.

Questions about these resources

Are these resources free?

Yes. Every article and guide on this page is free. Training for partner churches lives in the members area.

Can I use these with my small group?

Yes. The articles are written to be read and discussed together.

Do you recommend resources from other ministries?

Yes. We point to trusted tools such as the Explore study, the Perspectives course and Joshua Project, and we say why we recommend each one.

What missions small-group studies can a church use?

We usually start churches with the seven-week Explore study. Other good options include Pioneers' "Is the Commission Still Great?" with its videos and facilitator guide, and IMB's Foundations with its companion guide.

How can a church train members in evangelism?

Teach a clear, simple explanation of the gospel and help each member tell their own story, then practice together and go out together. Tools like NAMB's 3 Circles give members a framework they can remember and use in everyday conversations.

How can a church teach members about world religions?

Start with short, trustworthy introductions to a religion and read them alongside Scripture in a guided discussion. Encourage respectful questions and real friendships, because people within any religion hold a wide range of beliefs and practices.
