What We Do

How Can Our Church Get More Involved in Missions?

A church gets more involved in missions by teaching God's heart for the nations, praying for missionaries and people groups by name, giving with purpose, and building a few lasting partnerships. Psalm 67 Collective helps churches across the US do exactly that, in three movements: Evaluate, Equip and Engage. Every church is different, so we start with a free Vision Meeting, then choose together how closely we walk with you, for up to two years.

Short-term trips

Help planning, preparing and leading trips that serve alongside your partners.

How should a church plan a short-term mission trip? →

Long-term mission development

A sending pipeline and care for the missionaries your church sends.

How does a church become a sending church? →

What are some good missions ideas for churches?

Pray for one unreached people group by name each week. Run a seven-week Explore study in small groups. Send a small team on a vision trip to meet a partner church. Adopt a missionary family your members can name and care for.

What is a church missions strategy?

A church missions strategy is an intentional plan for how your congregation takes part in missions, near and far: your priorities, your partnerships and how members get involved. It works best when it fits your church's vision and focuses on a few deep relationships.

Churches building a missions ministry that lasts

What happens at the end of a partnership?

By the end of a Full Access partnership, your church runs missions on its own: a trained missions leader, a yearly rhythm, training your people can lead and partners of your own.

A missions leader

Someone from your church, recognized by your pastors, who carries the work forward.

A rhythm

A yearly calendar for teaching, prayer, trips and care for missionaries.

Your own partners

Relationships with vetted churches overseas that belong to your church, not to us.

An advisor

We stay available for questions and big decisions.

Questions about partnering

Can we start without choosing a level?

Yes. Every church starts with a free Vision Meeting. Many churches begin at Essential and move up when they are ready.

Can a church change levels?

Yes. A church can move up or down a level as its needs change.

Do you also help individuals?

Yes. We help individuals navigate the missions landscape and connect them to the right organizations and trainings, so they land on the field well prepared.

What happens after the partnership ends?

Full Access partnerships are designed for up to two years, because every church is different. Then your church runs its missions ministry in-house, and we stay available as advisors.

How much should a church give to missions?

There is no single right percentage. Set missions giving through prayerful planning around your church's priorities, resources and lasting partnerships. Scripture calls for willing, thoughtful giving according to what you have (2 Corinthians 8–9), not a fixed number.

What does a church missions committee do?

A missions committee helps the whole church understand and take part in missions. It keeps up relationships with your missionaries, organizes prayer and practical care, shapes the missions strategy, and helps spot and prepare people God may be calling to go.
